About me

Hi, Stephen here. I come from Broomfield, Colorado. It's about 30 minutes north of Denver and 15 minutes east of Boulder. I grew up camping with my family and I absolutely loved it - still do in fact. I have fond memories of opening my early morning eyes to see droplets of dew covering the thin lining of my tent, just dreading the thought of having to leave the comfort of my hot, stuffy sleeping bag to the cold that had nearly frozen my face off the night before.

I have been on all sorts of hikes and climbs. My first big climb was when I was about 15 years old. I had one of my best friends over, Marc Mustoe, who stayed up with me all night before we had to get up at 1:00am to be on the mountain by 3:30am. Then we hiked and climbed 7.5 miles one-way to the top of Longs Peak - taking the Keyhole route. We were both proud of that stupid decision to stay up all night.

I moved to New York City about two years ago to begin my undergraduate degree in Business Management at The King's College. It's a small, Christian, liberal arts school next to Wall St. I've had great experiences at a few internships over the past year and hope to explore other internship opportunities before I graduate. My experiences at my internships have taught me that I love helping people better themselves or their business. I guess you could say I like consulting.

Aside from consulting and camping, I love cars (I have a 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan - that things goes 60mph, man), food (I make a mean Fettuccini Alfredo - almost every day...it's actually very unhealthy), and movies (Ghostbusters...solid, moving film).

I come from a family of 7 and I'm smack dab in the middle of it. I have two younger sisters (Nora and Laura), an older brother (Daniel), and an older sister (Chelsea). I love my family a ton and look forward to going back to Colorado every chance that I get.
